HBASJV Membership Types

Membership with HBASJV is for any individual who represents a company that supports the mission and purpose of the Home Builders Association of St. Joseph Valley (HBASJV).  A company may have multiple individuals as members, but one individuals will serve as the Primary Member of Record for their company.

Individuals will represent a Builder Member, and Associate Member, or a Nonprofit Member. Additional individuals (Affiliate Members) may be added under an existing member company.

BUILDER MEMBER DEFINITION

  • Builder members are those who construct new homes of any kind including single-family homes, condominiums, townhomes, or multi-family housing such as apartments, etc.

  • Remodelers are those who build additions, remodel, or rehabilitate existing homes or commercial structures.

  • Land Developers design and create neighborhoods or single lots for the purpose new home construction.

  • Commercial Builders are also included in this membership category.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER DEFINITION

  • An individual representing a company whose primary source of revenue is typically related to the construction industry in some other way (Trades Professionals, Vendors & Suppliers, Subcontractors, Realtors & Lenders, Services Providers, etc.). 

  • Other Associate members (such as Marketing & Advertising Professionals, Other Service Providers) are also welcome if their purpose is not inconsistent with the purpose of the Association.
